The giant storm knocked out our electricity Friday morning 8:30 and we just got it back last night (Sunday) late. So, yes, our weekend was hellish. It's so cute to hear Mary explain it though. Her highlights are #1 trees fell down, #2 spooky, #3 raining, windy, all wet, etc. She couldn't quite grasp the idea that the electricity was out and we couldn't watch tv. I tried to explain to her about the electricity and lights and tv, but it wasn't making sense to her of course. I think she had fun camping out on our matress in the living room in front of the wood stove with flash lights. Made Ben & I realized how dependent we are on the TV. Rather sickening you know. But, if I ever again have to hang my ass over the bathtub to take a whizz, I don't know what I'll do!
PS--We saw Juno! It is a FANTASTIC movie. Go see it!
