Saving the World & Still Prego

Just want to first let everyone know...still no baby. Waiting and waiting and waiting until I am as big as a house. I'm running out of clothing options...my gut is hanging out of the bottom of nearly every shirt I own. I think I've got about 4 good shirts that fit that aren't wifebeaters. Which is totally fine with me since I'm done with work. Having lots of contractions though. However, if I have this kid on 4-20 I'll be totally pissed. So I'm shooting for EARTH DAY...which leads to my next topic...SAVING THE WORLD, ONE LOAD OF LAUNDRY AT A TIME! I have switched over to cold water for all laundry washing. I'm no laundry snob anymore! And I actually use some Costco brand of laundry soap called Eco, or something like that. It's great. I'm not sure how exactly "earth-friendly" it REALLY is...but it soothes my conscience while washing clothes.

And now announcing Mary's book pick of the month:

Tomorrow is such a big day for this kid too....First day of preschool. So we are out to shop for lunch options, since she has to pack a lunch. I can't believe my little muffin is going to preschool. She'll probably be the smartest & cutest & sassiest girl there. I'll be sure to take a picture of her with her backpack on to send to everyone.

How exciting!!! I can’t wait to see her!!!! Mary-doodle is growing up too fast!

Congrats on making the switch! I’ve always used cold water(never even thought of it as being green either…Thanks!). I’m loving the High Efficiency front loaders I got for my birthday/anniversary last year too! You wouldn’t believe how little water they use! Plus less loads, and less detergent! I swear by them…you have to get you a pair!! I use to buy a couple of bottles of detergent a month. Now I buy a bottle about every 4 - 6 months.
