This is my peach tree. My uncle Eddie gave it to us when we had the baby. It's an Oh Henry. This picture was taken in June and it's way bigger now. I can't wait to eat peaches next year. They are going to be tasty. When my very strong and handsome husband was digging the hole for the tree, he found an old bottle about 2ft under the ground. I was hoping there was diamonds or a wad of cash in it, but it was just full of dirt. That's really a cool idea to buy folks who have a baby a tree, so they can associate the tree with the child as the years pass. Please don't ask me if I buried the placenta under it. Because THAT'S JUST GROSS. I'm trying to be all hippyish and Earth-loving, but that's really not by style.
