Had an excellent Book Club meeting last night. Thanks ladies for the dish, the estrogen and the food & drink. I must mention the homemade mini hostess cupcakes on a stick that Shavon brought...YUM. What a show-off! Can you believe her? She'll be famous some day. I all of us book clubbers can say...She was in my book club and I had her first ever mini cupcakes on a stick that looked just like hostess cupcakes. I will so seriously be famous via her famousness. :)
Anyway, we will be reading White Oleander by Janet Fitch for April. Yes, I will read this one. I've got a good head start and now I have to prove myself as well.

That is the book I was reading when I received the devastating call about Harvey. It is a good book. Well, what I read of it anyway. I was pretty close to the end of the book when the phone rang. Haven’t picked it up since, or any other book! Well, only to place them in a box when I moved. Strange how things affect us. Maybe someday I’ll be able to read again! I did recently dig my books out of the box. So, I think I’m getting closer! Don’t recommend the movie by the way…the book is a million times better!!!!!!
Oh…I went on to Shavon’s blog to see the cupcakes on a stick, and I officially HATE you Sarah!!! I had no yummy treat this weekend!!!!!! Well, Delia did bring some cookies over, but I didn’t have any! Yes, now you know something is officially wrong in the world of Janell!!!!!!!!
